What drives you to work on Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae elimination?
Control what you can- this means eliminate M. hyopneumoniae. PRRS and M. hyopneumoniae do not play well together in the downstream flow leading to high production losses, high death rate, high antibiotic usage and poor animal welfare. At this point in time, the industry is struggling to control PRRS in NGF populations, so we need to make sure the pig does not have to deal with PRRS and M. hyopneumoniae at the same time.

What drives you to work on Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae elimination?
Eliminating M. hyopneumoniae from pig farms leads to better animal health and performance, and reduces animal suffering due to chronic coughing and respiratory disease.
