What drives you to work on Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae elimination? 
There are many good reasons that I consider regarding Mycoplasma elimination, but probably the biggest is because we can. There now is a lot of good historic evidence that herds can stay negative for extended periods of time, and we can keep their offspring negative even in pig-dense areas through grow-finish, and be able to realize the benefits of elimination. With this, the time to pay back the expense of the project is short, and can have a long-expected return.
